I understand that HMRC has agreed that the US stimulus payments (Economic Impact Payments) are not UK taxable. I declared them in my self assessment tax return for 2021 - 2022. How do I correct my tax return?

Hi,

If you filed this online, you can go back on and amend it to remove the entry.

If you filed by paper, you will need to write in to have this amended as it cannot be done on the phone.
