I am a National Business Development Manager. In the tax year 2022/2023 I worked for a company, which has paid me a car benefit (I was taxed on it) and no mileage allowance. The company paid for fuel. Am I allowed to claim mileage allowance, deducting the fuel which was paid by the company? What is included in the 45p mileage allowance, only fuel or other benefits?

Hi,

If using a company car, you can claim the Advisory fuel rates.
