I recently discovered that I had been issued two UTRs. One for my Business Tax Account and one for my Personal Tax Account. I pointed this out and was told that one had been cancelled and the data combined. However, I can still access both but they are still not sharing data. When I log in to my Personal Account there is no Business Account information there and it is still displaying the old UTR. How do I log in to the personal account with the same UTR as my Business Account? I have tried the phoneline but it's a waste of time as I hold for about an hour and then get cut off. My work lunchbreak is only 30 minutes and I can't keep taking holiday just to make a phone call that gets cut off anyway.

If you have more than one personal UTR, one of them needs to be closed as only one should be used at a time.

You will need to contact our Self Assessment helpline again or write to us asking which is the correct UTR and we will respond accordingly.
