If not submitted you can submit the original or certified POA to HMRC with a covering letter to review.

You will need to amend the Self Assessment tax return for the previous tax years. HMRC can review the previous 4 tax years.

If you are in Self Assessment any refund due will be calculated when you submit your tax return. If not in Self Assessment HMRC will review the tax year once your PAYe income details are received.
If overpaid a calculation will be issued to you.
