RE: NI contributions - differing bank account names
Hi
HMRC have multiple accounts which denotes what the payment is for.
I can confirm that both account names are correct, you can use either account name with those bank details with the reference as per the payment information in your shortfall letter you do not need to call us for the 18digit reference number.
If your bank refuse to send the payment please use the HMRC NICO account name.
Thanks

RE: Higher rate tax relief on one-off pension contributions
Hi ukceciltse1971 Sungu
Yes as you are a higher rate tax payer then you can claim the additional tax releif on your pension contributions if paid from your net income. You would declare the details on your Self Assessment tax return to receive the tax relief.
Thank you -

Hi
Your foreign tax identification number can be either your Self Assessment Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR), or your National Insurance Number (NINO).
You should be able to view your NINO on any letter issued to you by HMRC.
