Your previous employer will submit the P45 details to HMRC. Once received the tax code will be reviewed/updated.
Yes if overpaid you will receive the tax refund.
As the 2023/24 has just ended once the PAYE details are received your record will be reviewed and if overpaid a calculation will be issued to you with details of how to claim.

If over paid for the 2023/24 tax year which ended 5 April 2024 then once HMRC receive your PAYE figures we will review your record and a calculation will be issued with the details and how to claim.

In return for a service is broad language, and could cover a lot of different scenarios - for example, sharing a social media post, or signing up to use a particular platform.
As you had to send tokens to an address this is seen as a service and therefore liable to income tax.
When you receive airdrops of crypto that are subject to Income Tax, you’ll pay tax based on the fair market value in GBP at the time you received them.
