You will need to contact DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) regarding the Contracted-Out Pension Equivalent (COPE) amount and enquire why it is no longer showing on your personal tax account if it has been removed. They will investigate this for you at the appropriate numbers below depending on your circumstances for state pension age. If you need confirmation of the contracted-out period HMRC hold, you can call us on the below number, we can then provide written proof of your contracted out period to assist you.

Hi,
Your client may download our form CA5403 via GOV.UK and post it back to us. We’ll then be able to trace for her National Insurance Number and post it out to her. She may also call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 (from the UK) or +44 191 2037010 (from overseas) and they will be able to trace for her National Insurance Number and post it out to her, they will not quote it over the phone to her.

RE: CF83 Application with a Temporary NINO?

As your client has had National Insurance contributions deducted from their salary, then they should send us copies of their P60s or payslips and our International Team will be able to provide them with a full National Insurance Number and allocate the contributions that they’ve already paid.
