RECapital gains on mutual fund
Hi,
Mutual funds that are 'Non reporting funds' are treated as 'offshore income gains' and are subject to income tax and not capital gains tax.
The gains should be entered in box 41 of SA106 and in the box marked "Other overseas income and gains" on the online return.

The employer can call, however HMRC would not assist in the calculation, there are calculation online which the employer can use to calculated the net overpayment.

Hi,
I would advise you to set up a Personal Tax Account (PTA); you can then check if you will benefit from paying voluntary National Insurance contributions for the 2023-24
tax year and if you can pay online.

Hi,
You can apply for any periods the child benefit recipient has received the benefit, they will retain the credits if they require them.
