Yes, it still needs to be decalred here.
An estate agent will be able to give you a valuation based on similar properties sold at the time yours was purchased.
You can claim Foreign Tax Credit Relief for any foreign tax paid to set against your UK bill.

You will need to dispose of your shares, place the money into the stocks and shares ISA and buy the shares back, up to a maximum of £20000.

Hi mike,
You may need to contact the National Insurance helpline to check if your payment has been correctly allocated.
Advise them that it is not showing on your online records and you are approaching your State Pension age.
The number for the helpline is 0300 200 3500, lines are open from Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.

RE 'Official' date of leaving the UK
Hi Nick Stevenson,
I can confirm that each period of work in the UK, will count as leaving the country again.
When you complete the CF83 application form, you will need to provide all periods residence and employment in the UK, and all periods of residence, employment and unemployment in Spain.
If there is not enough space on the application to include all of these periods, please attach a covering letter to provide the information.
All periods are required to process your application.

If you have paid National Insurance contributions for tax years that are not recorded as being qualifying on your Personal Tax Account then please call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 (from the UK) or +44 191 203 7010 (from overseas).
We will then be able to correct any problem.

You are unable to transfer National Insurance contributions from one country to another.
However, you can contact the pension service regarding the payment of contributions into another countries state pension system.
You can contact them on 0800 731 0175.
Lines are open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

RE: Being made to pay Class 3 NI contributions from abroad
Hi Carlos Hughes,
To be entitled to pay voluntary Class 2 National Insurance contributions whilst overseas, you must have lived in the UK for at least 3 continuous years since birth or have paid National Insurance contributions for at least 3 qualifying tax years.
In addition to this, you must have been normally employed or self-employed in the UK and are employed or self-employed overseas.
If you feel that you do meet this criteria then may we ask that you write to us and detail your UK and overseas employment again – such as if you were employed and the period involved (from … to …) and any periods of non-employment and the periods involved.

RE: No State Pension years recorded while working full time
Hi Pierre,
Based on the information you have provided, we are presuming that you have already written to HMRC with details of the missing National Insurance contributions from your employment.
If not, you will need to do this, providing names and addresses of your employers, tax years concerned, payroll numbers (if known), copies of P60, P45 or payslips, and your personal details. The address to write to is:
