RE: Transferring Rental Income to my Wife
Hi garthuk,
A Declaration of trust is a legally binding document that creates a trust.
Most types of trust giving an interest in property to somebody who is not the legal owner now need to be registered with HMRC via the Trust Registration Service.
You can find guidance on the registration requirements and how to register here:
Register a trust as a trustee
There is also more information about what types of trust need to be registered at TRSM23050
Types of trusts that need to be registered:

RE: payment of voluntary class 2 NIC contributions from abroad
Hi Annop Kumar,
Sorry for the delay in processing your CF83 application form.
When our International Teams have processed your application they will send you a letter to confirm and what happens next.
Unfortunately, there is a delay in processing CF83s.
If you are in an EU country and have sent your CF83 online then it should have been processed by now so you may wish to call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 (from the UK) or + 44 191 203 7010 (from overseas).
If you posted your CF83 then they are working on queries received July 2023 at the moment.
If you are in a country outside of the EU and sent your CF83 online then they are working on queries received in June 2024 and if you send it by post, they are working on queries received in March 2024.
Thank you.

RE: Missing NI contributions
Hi Ruby Aus Jaggard-Hawkins,
Unfortunately HMRC can not confirm how many years or which years would benefit your state pension the most if you were to voluntary pay for them.
Only DWP can confirm this.
If you are having trouble contacting them via telephone then you could try contacting them via the online enquiry form.
Please find a link below:
International Pension Centre
Once you have confirmation from the DWP which years and how many you need to pay for then you must fill in a CF3 application form to apply to pay for the tax years.
Please find a link below to the application form:
Apply to pay voluntary National Insurance contributions when abroad.
Apply to pay voluntary National Insurance contributions when abroad (CF83)
Thank you.

Re class 2 or 3 NI, how long is immediate in "you worked in the UK immediately before leaving"
Hi Michael,
If you could complete and return our CF83 application form, after you have read leaflet NI38, then our International Teams will be able to check your entitlement to pay the voluntary class 2 National Insurance contributions.
You may find the NI38 here:
Social Security abroad: NI38
Before applying to pay voluntary contributions, may I ask that you first obtain a State Pension Forecast which will detail your current and future entitlement to a UK State Pension.
You may obtain this here:
Check your State Pension forecast
Thank you.
