Hi R Tho,
Sometimes there may be liability for Class 1 National Insurance contributions for a certain number of years after leaving the UK if your UK employer sends you to work overseas for them.
The question about being employed by the same employer before leaving the UK is to help us check that your National Insurance account is correct, that there are no missing contributions and will help us to check if there was any liability.

Sorry for the problems that you’re experiencing in trying to contact Future Pension Centre.
Their telephone number from overseas is +44 191 218 3600.
It can take up to 8 weeks for your payment of voluntary contributions to be reflected on your Personal Tax Account so you may wish to call the National Insurance Helpline on +44 191 203 7010 and they will be able to ensure that your payment has been received and arrange for allocation. You may wish to have your payment details handy when you call.
Your Personal Tax Account will be able to show you your updated State Pension entitlement once your payment of voluntary contributions has been allocated.

May I ask that you call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 (from the UK) or +44 191 203 7010 (from overseas) and they will be able to check your National Insurance account and make sure that we have received your payment.

RE: Linking NI Class 2 Voluntary Payments to gaps / Confirming Payment

It can take up to 8 weeks for your payment of voluntary contributions to be reflected on your Personal Tax Account (PTA).
Our International Team will allocate your payment to your National Insurance account and your PTA will reflect this.
If you could check your PTA after 8 weeks to ensure that your payment has been allocated as you intended.
If your payment has not been allocated after 8 weeks or not as you intended, then please call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 (from the UK) or +44 191 203 7010 (from overseas) and they will be able to help you.

If you have a Personal Tax Account (PTA) then you will be able to update your address through this service.

As you have waited this time already, may we ask that you call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 (from the UK) or +44 191 203 7010 (from overseas) and they will make sure that your payment is recorded and arrange allocation.

Hi Shing Hsu,
Box 35 is for capital gains not remitted to the UK.
RBC means Remittance Based Charge, which is £30,000 or £60,000.
The remittance based charge only applies, if you have been resident in the UK for more than 7 of the last 9 years and is added into the tax calculation.
If you are resident and not domiciled for less than 7 years, RBC does not apply.
Box 36 is for adjusting the payments on account POSAs) that are due for the follwing year.
