RE:Working for a UK company remotely Re SA109 Form
Hi daeusx123,
If you are overseas and working remotely in the UK does not count for the "Number of days you worked for more than 3 hours in the UK.
You physically need to be in the UK, when working more than 3 hours, whether that work is overseas or in the UK.
Thank you.

RE:The end date of the overseas part of the tax year under split year treatment
Hi S Chung,
The overseas end date will be the midnight before the day in which you arrived in the UK.
Midnight is used as a fixed point.
Your first day in the UK is the first midnight that you were in the UK.
Split year treatment should be declared on the tax return supplementqary page SA109.
Residence, remittance basis etc (Self Assessment SA109)
Please have a look at:
RDRM10610 - Residence: General Information: Counting days
Thank you.

RE:Capital gain offset loss
Hi Ben716,
If you are referring to the 22/23 tax tax year, your gains are covered by your annual allowance so you would not need to put a figure in box 45.
You can put the details of your losses, a full breakdown would be required - on the additional information section so that HMRC are aware that you have these losses to be carried forward for later use.
Thank you. -
