RE: Overseas Remote employee for a UK based employer
Hi Detail Rec,
If an individual moves overseas on a long term basis and becomes tax resident in the overseas country, but continues to work remotely for a UK employer, it is likely that the other country will tax his employment income.
Employees who spend most of their time abroad over a period of a year or more may be able to obtain full UK tax relief on their earnings by completing form P85 and sending it to HMRC who will confirm the tax code to use
For more information on what is expected of employers and employees in this kind of situation, please refer to the following guidance:

Hi Tony,
Yes, you need to declare all your UK income.
You will also record the tax on your income on the SA102 Employment page that you have already paid on your income earned.
Thank you.

RE:Civil service pension and job
Hi fallguys12000 Clark,
HMRC will be notified when you take your pension. due to the time of year that you intend to retire, your salary will have already used your full personal tax allowances (based on current figures) so there won't be any available to go towards your pension.
For the start of the new tax year that April, you can split your allowances. this would automatlically be allocated against your salary first so if you wanted it different.
You can do this through your personal tax account
Personal tax account: sign in or set up
You will need to contact your payrol department about the effect of reducing your hours earlier and how this affects your pension.
Thank you.
