RE: Basic PAYE Tools back-up file now a .bak file
Hi Jeremy Fisher and Derek Johnston
You can provide feedback straight to the subject matter expert if you think something is wrong with a particular page or guidance can be improved on GOV.UK.
At the bottom of each page you will find a button to do this.
Select ‘Contact’, then select ‘Contact GOV.UK’. This brings up an electronic form which you can use to provide more detailed feedback on the contents of a page. This feedback is then read by one of our subject matter experts who, if you’ve provided your contact details, will be able to provide you with a response.
A quick link is available at: Contact GOV.UK
Thank you

RE: Employee entered wrong info from P11d on self assessment
Hi Tracey Thompson
The employer is responsible for completing a P11D and should amend the return sent to HMRC.
They should also correct any PIID already issued to an employee.
Please see the guidance at:Expenses and benefits for employers: Reporting and paying
The employee should also input the correct figures on their own Self Assessment tax return
Thank you.
