P11D and SA tax return entries

I understand that benefits in kind in the blue box of a P11D are subject to Class 1 NIC via payroll, as opposed to Class 1a, but do these still require entry on a SATR as benefits in kind subject to income tax ?

Yes they are still required to be entered on the SATR as benefits in kind subject to income tax.
