Hi, One of our employees left the UK earlier this year and moved abroad. They are eligible for split year tax treatment as they were resident in the UK for April - June 2022 and have now left the country. The person earned £8,000 in this 3 month period and their personal tax allowance was £12,570. Can you confirm if their UK income for these 3 months will have a pro-rated (3 months worth) personal tax allowance applied to it ? Or, given the numbers above, would they receive a full refund of all the income tax they had paid in the 3 months ? Thanks a lot.

They will be entitled to full personal allowances.
