Identical address records don't match

Although my address on the HMRC records as shown on my profile and the address I’ve entered to register for the self assessment are the same, the system is reporting an error and doesn’t allow me to register until I've update the address?! any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

If the address is correct and you are still getting the error, you can complete the on screen and print form or contact our helpline.
