Repayment taking a long time

Hey everyone, I submitted my return two months ago and requested a repayment about the same time. I have not got the repayment yet nor has anyone contacted me. I have tried phoning the helpline but it is closed until September. I know people who have put the return in after me and have already received it. Could anybody advise me on this? Thanks Kyle

If you click on 'Ask HMRC online' and request to speak with an adviser you will be put in the queue for webchat and we can check the position regarding the repayment. Self Assessment: general enquiries
