RE: Employer has reduced for 2022/2023 Salary Sacrifice in P60
Hi Simon Lorrimer-Roberts,
A salary sacrafice is change to your contractual rate of pay so would not show on a P60 as only income paid would show on this.
If your question is regarding income reported to HMRC you would need to speak to personal tax on 0300 200 3300 or SA on 0300 200 3310.
Thank you.

RE: Repayment of PAYE made to employer
Hi Mike6220,If an individual has paid too much PAYE but you have reported the correct salary to HMRC then the employer wouldnt change anything.
It may be the case that this can happen if the individual received a large payment in one pay period.
If this is the case they can contact personal tax on 0300 200 3300 to check if they can claim the tax back

RE: Zero rate of VAT for solar panel products
Hi Ben Stross,
If you purchase energy saving materials yourself then you will be charged 20% VAT on the materials.
The materials can only benefit from the relief if the supplier installs the goods or subcontracts the installation to another builder.
There will be changes to the energy saving reliefs from February 2024 and there will be more information provided on the website regarding this.
At the moment we have only produced a Consulation Outcome but Notice 708/6 will be updated prior to 1st February to include specific guidance regarding batteries and the conditions necesaary to benefit from the relief.
Consultation outcome Summary of responses Updated 11 December 2023
Thank you.
