RE:VAT repayment with oversea bank
Hi derekwai,
If the bank doesn't have an IBANm, are you able to provide the SWIFT code on the form?
The form should allow you to complete this without the IBAN as most non EC banks don't use IBAN.
If you have any issues please contact our Helpline as below:

RE:VAT on Sales
Hi ecommerce,
If you are selling goods below a value of £135 and the goods are sent direct from your supplier to your customer then there would still be a supply made by to your UK customer.
In this scenario there are 2 supplies being made.
The first supply is the sale of goods between the overseas company and yourself and then the second supply would be between yourself and your customer in the UK so the second supply would attract VAT as it is taking place in the UK.
Thank you.

RE: Do I need to register for VAT for dropshipping
Hi s234,
You would still need to register for VAT if you breach the £85K registration threshold.
In this scenario there are 2 supplies being made.
The first supply is the sale of goods between the Chinese company and yourself and then the second supply would be between yourself and your customer in the UK so the second supply would also attract VAT.
Thank you.

Sole trader's motor expenses - VAT
Hi QQask,
There are different methods for a VAT registered entity to reclaim VAT as input tax on their fuel if the fuel is put to both private and business use.
The example you have used would be an acceptable one if they use detailed mileage records,
Please see the guidance below:
