My Gross Salary is £108k I pay 5% into a workplace pension paid after tax My employer pays 10% Assuming no other income or gift aid etc.... What is my Net adjusted Income?

Hi marioair,
You would deduct the pension contribution plus any relief claimed by the pension provider from the gross salary.

Thanks. I assume you mean: 1) Gross salary (£108k) minus MY contributions (5%), not the Employer contriubutions (10%) 2) Where do I find out how much/if the provider claims tax relief 3) What if I made additional contributions above any beyond the 5% - can i deduect these too? Bascially - I'm trying to get below the £100k threshold.

Hi,

You are correct, you can deduct any additional contributions. You can check with the pension provider if they are claiming relief if they do not provide you with a statement.
