No need to complete a Self-Assessment for 2022-2023 tax year?
Hi
You are correct, if you have confirmed that no Notice to File has been issued, then no tax return is expected or due.
Thank you.

RE: Payments on Account
Hi Danelaw,
Payments made will not be present on your Self Assessment calculation when you complete your tax return.
Paymnts should be automatically deducted when your overall balancing payment for that year is requested.
If you would like us to review your payments made and overall balance., please contact us by webchat or post here:
Self Assessment: general enquiries
Thank you.

RE:Adjusted Net Income help!
Hi Alice588,
Your adjusted net income calculation is correct.
While we can't specifically advise you on how to reduce your ANI, paying into your pension in the way you've described would reduce your ANI as you expect.
And if your Cycle to Work scheme is taken from your pay before tax, it would not count as a deduction towards your ANI.
Thank you. -
RE:Foreign Income/Expenses - Lecturer
Hi Steven Forrest,
1. If no tax has been deducted, declare this under employment income, convert the income to sterling.
The PAYE reference will be NONE .
2. No
3. No as this is similar to a stpend.
Thank you.

RE:55% tax on pension withdrawal over lifetime allowance: Where to declare on self-assessment?
Hi Sherard Veasey,
As tax was deducted this would not be the tax free element and you would show this under pension income on the return.
Thank you.

RE:Old and New UTR numbers,
Hi Brooneye,
Due to the IVA, you now need to submit information using the new UTR.
You will need to set up a new gateway account for this.
Any payments you make should also be on the new UTR.
The 2 accounts will not be linked on your gateway as the old one will now be classed as closed up to the year the IVA took place.
Thank you. -
