VAT on import to UK based Gibraltar registered company

Hi - We are importing stationery products from China to our UK customer. But our UK based customer is now Gibraltar registered. Can we charge them the VAT? Any help/advice welcome! cheers Simon

Hi,
If the goods are being imported into the UK VAT will be payable regardless of where your customer is based.
