Buying new earphones in Germany

I spend a fair amount of time in Germany for work. Am I able to buy new earphones and reclaim the VAT? I keep seeing conflicting information

I would suggest that you need to check what the German rules are for a VAT refund on retail export sales. If you bring the item back yourself check the personal allowance for duty and VAT free . https://www.gov.uk/bringing-goods-into-uk-personal-use Different allowances apply if the goods come by post or courier.
