Redundancy pay part of net adjusted income?

Does the full redundancy amount count towards net adjusted income (for things like tax free childcare)? If all of the redundancy pay is paid through PAYE, and all other sources of income have been as well, do I need to do a self assessment?

Yes the full redundancy payment is included as it is your total pay before tax.

You would need to see if you meet the criteria for Self Assessment.
