RE:CF83 Ordinary Resident Question
Hi PAUL O'DONOGHUE,
There are many different factors that need to be considered when processing the CF83 application.
Therefore we cannot advise what the impact would be if your answer to that question was no, without taken all of the other factors into consideration.
Thank you.

RE:NI contribution thresholds when payslips are issued at various intervals
Hi bluehorizon,
If you are on pay as you earn employment you receive payslips as you are paid, monthly and at alternative times as you have mentioned equity compensation that may be separate to your normal salary.
You can discuss this further with the Citizens advice or ACAS.
Thank you. -

RE:I paid voluntary class 3 payments from the netherlands via bank transfer
Hi RebeccaB1984 Bee,
It can take up to 8 weeks for your payment of voluntary contributions to be reflected on your National Insurance account.
Once your payment has been allocated to your account it will then appear on your Personal Tax Account and you will be able to check your revised pension entitlement.
When we receive a payment by bank transfer we do our best to determine where it should be allocated to but if you don’t agree with the action that we’ve taken please let us know and we’ll amend it for you.
You may wish to call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 2003500 (from the UK) or +44 191 2037010 (from overseas) to advise how you would like your payment to be allocted.
Thank you.

RE: 18 Digit Reference for payments
Hi Laura Mason,
As it would appear that you are wishing to pay overseas voluntary contributions, we can confirm that the correct reference number to use is: National Insurance Number,
Followed by IC,
Then your surname and initial.
This would mean that your payment goes to our International Office to allocate to your National Insurance account.
Thank you. -
RE:Making further Class 3 contributions after a 3 year gap
Hi John,

As you are over pension age, you may wish to call The Pension Service on +44 191 2187777 and they will be able to help you further.
Thank you.

RE: Requested the A1 form to HMRC
Hi olliejgooding,
When an application for an A1 is made, in certain circumstances the S1 is also considered.
Without looking at your personal records we are unable to check if the S1 was considered with your A1 application.
The current timescales for online S1 applications is 4 weeks.
Thank you.
