If I come back to the UK in June and apply for Split Year Treatment, is the Pension Allowance still 60k or is it pro-rated?

Hi,
It is not pro rated.
It will remain at £60000.00
Thank you

Hello, The other way round, if I leave the UK in June and conditions for split tax year are met, is it correct that the pension allowance will still be £60,000, thus no pro-rata? Thank you

Hi Matt Drg,
You are correct.
It is not apportioned because you are arriving / leaving the UK.
Thank you.

i returned to the Uk in September after several years abroad and split year treatment applies to me. I can see that normally you can use upto three years worth of unused pension allowances. When split year treatment applies can you only use unused allowances from the years you were resident? Many thanks

Hi,
Please have a look at the guidance at: Check if you have unused annual allowances on your pension savings.
Thank you.
