I want to pay my tax bill via PAYE but my employer is not listed!

After submitting my tax return on 30th December and requesting to pay my tax bill via my PAYE I got a text asking me to pay my bill. I logged into my personal tax account to discover that my current employer (that I have been at since June 2022) is not showing on my personal tax record. I have requested an update to my record and listed my employer but the progress shows that it will not be compete until at least 1st Feb (even though when I first submitted it said it would take 15 days which would have been before end of January. Will this affect them being able to collect my tax from my PAYE? And ultimately do I need to find the money to pay my tax bill now?
