I arrived in the UK in September 2017 and remained there for three years until August 2020. Due to redundancy, I had to leave the UK and spent ~250 days in my home country from September 2020 to May 2021. I returned to the UK in May 2021 and have been continuously residing on a skilled workers visa since then. It has now been more than 6 years and 2 months since my initial arrival in September 2017. Considering the approximately 250 days of absence from September 2020 to May 2021, which exceeds the typical limit of 180 days, I am seeking guidance on my eligibility for ILR. If I were to distribute the days of absence as follows, would I still meet the eligibility criteria? 1. 122 days absence [from 1st September 2020 to 31st December 2020] for the year of 2020 2. 127 days of absence [from 1st January 2021 to 7th May 2021] for the year 2021. Thanks.

Hi

This is not a tax enquiry.  Indefinte leave to remain is not covered in this forum.  This is a question for the Home Office, who deal with such matters.

Thank you
