UTR number

Hi there, Since I filled the SA over 10 days already but still not got the UTR number and tried to use the HMRC app or login to check same got nothing, the worst thing is I called the hotline and it replied me go back to HMRC app or login to HMRC webpage! Today is 27 Jan 2023 already! Have a lovely weekend.

exactly same situation as you at the moment. I have been extremely anxious about this matter. I did apply UTR for the first time on the early of January. No UTR received. No useful reply on my calling HMRC twice. Each took me over an hour in a queue.

Hi Wang, I found a HMRC admin 10 answered the similar question as below "When your UTR is generated. We will issue a letter and you will have a filing deadline of 3 months and 7 days from when it was generated." Hope that is true and wish you will get your UTR real soon!
