Hello, I hope you are fine. I have filed my tax return of self assessment. Actually I have an income and taxed already paid by PAYE. After filed tax return of self assessment, I got the tax calculation letter from HMRC and the amount on the calculation only showed the amount of self assessment, there is no figure on the income that I paid tax and item "total income as which tax has been charged" is £0! Should it show my income of PAYE to the tax calculation form from HMRC and combined all income of salary and self assessment together? I am confused, would you please advise if anything on P45/P60 should be filled in while doing self assessment? I am afraid if I get anything wrong. Thanks.

Hi,

When completing the tax return you need to enter all the income you had during the year. This includes any PAYE income which was already taxed. If you submitted the return online you can amend the return. See guidance in the link below:
