I applied for a UTR in November and didn't receive the number in the post. And then I called HMRC to inquire why I didn't received a UTR in the mail and they said I should've received a confirmation number after applying and that if I didnt get one I should apply for a UTR again. I just resubmitted the SA1 form and haven't gotten a confirmation that they've received my form (no number as the agent on the phone indicated). Am I supposed to get a confirmation code when submitting a request for a UTR?

We usually send a confirmation email once the form has been submitted.

Hiya, I've sumbitted the Sa1 form twice now and haven't received any confirmation email. How shall i resolve this? Do i need to fill the form out via phone? Mathu

Hi mathulogan,

If the £65,000 figure is on the P60 this would suggest the pension contributions were not deducted before tax and should be included on the tax return.
When completing the tailor your return section, there is a question that asks about pension contributions.
If you answer yes to this it will open the section later where you enter the contributions.

Same here, I applied for the UTR online for the first time on 12/01, but no confirmation email was received, and no reference number. It's been over 10 working days (we've been told to receive it within 10 days), and I am unable to do my tax return on time. which means I will get a fine for the late payment.
