A new company will supply goods to US, these goods will be shipped directly from Brazil to US. Basically the Brazilian supplier will raise a sales invoice to the UK company and ship the goods to US and the UK company will raise a sales invoice to US customer. Considering the goods will not transit through UK does the UK company needs to apply for an EORI number? Thanks.

Hi
I would advise contacting the Customs and International trade helpline on 0300 322 9434.
Thankyou.
Regards.

Hi Fabrico An EORI number is a UK importer (or exporter ) registration number therefore if the goods do not physically come to the UK there is no need to register for an EORI in the circumstances you describe.

Thank you Customs oldtimer! In fact the goods will not physically come to UK.
