Hello, My husband has a very small pension of £4,500 per year and consequently does not use up all of his personal tax free allowance of £12,750. Can he use the remainder of his allowance to receive interest payments of about £4,000 and therefore not pay any tax on this income? Many thanks for your advice

Thank you.
