I am completing my self-assessment for 2021-22 and I was in receipt of marriage allowance from my husband. There is space for me to transfer allowance but not to note that I receive it. This is not included in my final calculation. Will my final tax bill be adjusted once I submit my form? It is included in my tax code for that year in my Personal tax account.

If there is an agreement in place for your husband to transfer his surplus personal allowance for 21/22, this will automatically be included in the calculation, as it will automatically transfer from your partner every year until you cancel the agreement.
Have a look at the guidance at :
Marriage Allowance

Thank you for your reply. Does this mean that the tax amount owed in the initial calculation will be adjusted once I have submitted my self assessment and I will be notified of the new amount owed? The guidance you referred me to does not mention what will happen in this situation.
