Hello, In April 2021 I made the final payment on my plan 1 student loan, this was deducted by my employer (£192) and I've stated that on the self assessment form. This issue is that when I complete the form it thinks I've underpaid income tax by ~£2000 as there doesn't seem to be a way to tell the self assessment I've made my final payment so I assume it's calculating that I should be paying the loan for the entire year. Am I doing the correct thing here or is there anyway around this? I really don't want to have to pay the £2000 and then have to start a whole process of trying to get it refunded. Thanks

If you submit the Tax Return, and contact our helpline after 72 hours, we can refer you to our Student Loans Unit who will
be able to review this and amend the calculation:
