I have left employment and my last payslip shows Ex Gratia of 11k and Pilon of 22,100k. The payslip shows Total pay to date of 129249 and Gross pay to date of 118550. My P45 shows Total pay to date 118550. Please can you help with what figs l put where as l believe the Ex Gratia is tax free. Do l just put 22,100 for Pilon in the Compensation and lump sums payments up to the £30,000 exemption box. Do l need to put the Ex Gratia anywhere? Thanks

Hi Guys, Is a PILON Pay in a payslip be seen as PILON or Wages? Asking for my BFF, her payslip shows Wages not PILON Pay. I said it must be final pay because a PILON is paid ASAP not 3.5 months. Thank you so much.

Hi
It would normally show as the PILON so that we could then identify it for any potential repayment.
