One employee resigned and his last employment date is 20 Dec 2022. His final payment is already paid, but I forgot to add leaving date when submitting his final payment in BPT (Payment date: 20 Dec 2022). When I try to add leaving date (20 Dec 2022) for him, BPT only allows me to choose the date on or before 13 Nov 2022. The error message shows "The leaving date must be on or after the date of the final payment to the employee." and "The employee's leaving date must be within the selected tax year and no more than 30 days after today's date.". I do not see 20 Dec 2022 violates the above reasons. I also tried to add leaving date for other active employees, and they have same problem that I can only choose on or before 13 Nov 2022 as leaving date. Appreciate if anyone can give suggestion on above case. Thanks.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. 

However, there is a Webchat service for the Employer Help Line. 

Please visit :

Employers: general enquiries  .

  You then select the link "Ask HMRC's digital assistant".   

You will be able to request a chat with an adviser after first putting details of your query  .
