£6 per week WAH payment from employer

Our small organisation has no office and requires all staff to work from home. We have been making a payment of £6 per week to staff to contribute towards their working at home costs. This payment is itemised on payslips. We do not require staff to submit receipts. Please can you confirm that this is acceptable practice?
