When our P11Ds were sent out to employees one has raised an issue. He had asked for his children, who are no longer dependents, to be removed from his medical benefit last year. However, we neglected to update the cover and continued to pay the family premiums. He feels it is unfair for the full premium to be on his P11D and only the propotion relating to him solely should be incliuded. Can we reduce his medical benefit in his P11d?

Hi,

The amount reported on the P11D is the cost of the benefit to the employer.

If the higher amount was paid, then this should be the amount reported.

Thank you.
